On my system, downloaded email messages can be seen in the mail* folder (they have an .000 extension). Try opening each one using Notepad). Unfortunately, opening using Notepad does not allow access to attachments.
The \msn\db\ folder contains (temporary) local copies of email
messages read using MSN Explorer; you will also see a couple of .sdf files which
(at least on my system) seem to contain only emails subject to junk mail
filtering and my addressbook. The correct http server address for @msn.com email for Outlook and Outlook Express is: http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata
@hotmail.com uses a different address: http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp |
